The Jardin des Monts occupies small terraces along the southern slopes of the Mont-Dessous alpine pastures. These are situated in the Pays-d'Enhaut valley, above the Commune of Rossinière in the foothills of the Swiss Alps.
The domain comprises 13.5 hectares of pastureland, 26 hectares of forest and two chalets, the Mont-Dessous (at 1350 m) and the Mont-Dessus (at 1650 m). The Mont-Dessous perches on the edge of a cliff overlooking the village of Rossinière. A spruce forest separates it from the Mont-Dessus, from where you can enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding peaks.
Even today, it is only accessible by foot; installed in 2005, a winegrowers’ monorail facilitates the movement of supplies.
